Celebrate she's 8

Well the festivities from the past 2 weeks are over. What a nice Birthday for her. It was so sweet when she came out of the font and said "I am freezing, I feel GOOD!" Thanks to all the friends and family that made it such a memorable time for her. The party was great, she loved the "American girl mystery party" with her closest friends. The baptism program was delightful with grandpa and grandma speaking, #1 even sang a solo that I tried to accompany. I am relieved that "Birthday Season" is finally over, just in time to start thinking about the holidays. Sigh.

So this is the skunk living under our neighbors' porch. We caught him/her eating the trash they left on their front step. Don't worry, nothing was going to take it away from the loot it had just found. It didn't even indicate that we were there taking pictures. Does anyone know how to get rid of a skunk without causing any damage?

I can't believe our girl is 8!
The things I love most about her:
She always tries to make others happy, she is kind to everyone, she is an amazing big sister (a second mom) to her brothers, she loves to be a star, she loves school and always has the teachers so proud. She writes the coolest, most creative stories. She is sometimes shy, but is a friend to everyone.
Wow, she has added so much happiness to my life!
