MMm, Salsa!

My first attempt to make bottled salsa.
It took all day, but is delicious!
It was definitely worth the effort!
The kids even enjoy it.
Next year I will have to make two batches.

Happy 33rd!

I love...
that he makes me laugh, plays with the kids, has patience with the kids,
helps around the house, likes to cook. That he is selfless and a hard worker.
Loves to be outside. Takes the spiders outside.
Is always researching for the facts, is sensitive toward my feelings,
will dance with me (when nobody is looking).
Most of all that he is playful.
We have a lot of fun.
I can't wait to enjoy the next 33 years with him.

Brrr!

Little swim in a cold lake on a cold day.

Camping

Every time we go camping it rains! Never fail. Well, it rained most of last week so what could we expect? But we had rented a cabin in the white mtns. and it is hard to get one.
We were able to swim and canoe and fish while the sun was out. It started pouring around 3 pm and then we were in the cabin for the rest of the day. It was a good thing we brought the UNO cards.

Gorgeous!

Believe me, we weren't going in luxury! It was pretty primitive ( No electricity and a pit toilet).
We had fun!

Growing up!

She finally convinced us to let her get them pierced.
Daddy was harder to convince,
since he doesn't want his little girl to
grow up

So after her piano practice chart was full
we took her to get them done.

She didn't even flinch (to my surprise!). She said she pinched her
ears everyday to prepare herself. I guess it worked. She really
can't handle pain...so this was shocking.

She has taken really good care of them since.
What a princess!
